Our story

For as long as I can remember, my childhood memories are filled with sugar and flour. I grew up watching my mother bake cakes in our family kitchen, transforming what might seem like ordinary ingredients into edible works of art. As a mother of a toddler and a newborn who recently migrated to Canada, my mother made custom cakes for the Latino community in Montreal back in the '90s. Naturally, this led me to the kitchen, where creating sweets became a cherished family tradition. Years later, I decided to co-found Cupkate and Co. with my mother and sister, turning a long-time family passion into a business.
